Nkanyezi, The Centre

 The entire centre: 2 blocks of classrooms ended by 2 small offices and plenty of open space!

 

 

 The Greenhouse, donated by Johannesburg City Parks, in which all centre food is grown 

 

 

 The park is the first in South Africa that is specifically designed for disabled children 

 

 

"Love us, Accept us, Protect us" - the beautifully decorated wall of 1 of the 2 blocks of classes at Nkanyezi 

 

 

Part of the handicap accessible play park recently donated (and maintained) by Johannesburg City Parks 

 

 

  A poem, Accept us as we are, written by centre founder & manager, Prisca Thsabalala, decorates block 2 

 

 

 The Park behind the centre was donated by Johannesburg City Parks and Standard Bank

 

 

 All equipment is accessible for wheelchairs and the swings are especially popular with the children
